Our lead for registrations would not go back to the paper based or the NHS digital solution, registration is now as simple as a patient scanning the bar code that is available at reception and they are registered with the practice within 10-24 hours max. We also use this registration functionality for a our care homes, it is much more timely than a paper request. The agreement is simple and you can opt out at anytime as you pay on a monthly basis.

I’d just like to reiterate my thanks to you all and the wider team for what you have done for us, and in fact for other GP practices. As some of you may know we are now the only practice in our small little town, Chard. Ariel Healthcare were born in October 2022 when two neighbouring practices merged following a longstanding working relationship. Ariel Healthcare then absorbed patients from a practice closure in February 2023, which now makes us the second largest practice in Somerset with just under 21,000 patients. I can’t quite put my finger on how we come across Healthtech-1 at the beginning, but hand on heart I can say you’ve made our lives so, so much easier. As you know, since signing up to automated registrations you have registered 839 patients, which has saved 196 admin hours. This has allowed our team to concentrate on other tasks within the practice. You have also automated and filed 6,353 lab results. This has saved our clinicians a considerable amount of time allowing them to attend to other tasks within their workflow. Better still it’s allowed us to offer between 5-8 additional appointments per week, which is amazing.
