During the pandemic, my parents asked us for help.
Their GP practice was struggling: a decreasing list size, mounting admin, phones ringing off the hook.
We fixed the phones first, introducing patient triage - cutting waits from 40 minutes to under 10. Then we redesigned the website, improved capacity, and automated registrations. The result: a bigger list, better reviews, and a 10% staff pay rise.
What started at the kitchen table became an automation company that consistently saves the NHS 5.2 years of admin time every week.
Now weβre building the product we wish existed when Mum and Dad first asked for help. Itβs called Bookable: a simple way for patients without a local GP to register at practices with the capacity to grow.
In a 43-practice pilot, Bookable improved access, boosted practice revenues, and eased pressure on acute services.
With the collective wisdom of practices, patients, and system innovators we know we can multiply this impact and, with a bit of luck, shape the future of the NHS App.
